Casting Notice: "The Classroom Hog"

Auditions: Thursday, March 11, 6:30 p.m. Katy, Texas. We will
email selected people the location of the auditions.

We particularly need to fill this role:

Every class has one, a student who repeatedly interrupts, asks
variations of the same question over and over, won't let other
students talk, acts disruptively, and generally prevents the
class from moving forward in any sort of productive way. The
fact that other students paid the same amount to receive
instruction means nothing to The Hog. Their needs and rights
are meaningless. It's all about her, and this skit is all about
what happens to The Hog when her instructor and fellow students
finally get fed up with her shenanigans.

The  "Hog" - 25-50 something woman - must be comfortable
playing a loud, obnoxious, blowsy female. This character
becomes the focus of all the other characters' anger and gets
beaten down to the ground in one scene, so you must be
comfortable playing broad physical comedy, wearing horrid
clothes, and not mind getting a little dust on your bum. If
you're a larger than life woman and always wanted to play
someone who makes other people break out in hives, this is the
role for you.

The Instructor - 35-50 something - male or female, must be
someone who looks and acts like they can command authority and
respect, and speak convincingly.

Students - 20 needed. The scene portrays an adult education
class, and we want a good mix of ages, genders and ethnicities
for these students.
